Campers will learn about 19th-century New York City history using the museum's collection as their focus.  Each summer, crafts and trips are designed to be fun and educational.  Craft projects in the past have included making pierced tin lanterns and churning old-fashioned ice cream.  Field trips to historic sites such as Philipsburg Manor and Historic Richmond Town show campers what life was like in the 1700s and 1800s. On the last day, campers exhibit their handmade artifacts and act as "docents" as they lead their guests on a detailed tour of the museum.  Call (212) 838-6878 x. 26 or visit our camp page on our website at http://mvhm.org/pages/events/events.htm for more information.
