Dr. Shai Shinhar is a pediatric ear, nose, and throat specialist, helping kids with very specific medical conditions affecting hearing and breathing. Dr. Shinhar concentrates on tonsils and adenoids, ear disease/hearing loss, cochlear implants, congenital abnormalities in ears, sleep apnea, airway disease and abnormalities, sinus disease, head and neck masses/tumors. Currently, he serves as the pediatric ENT surgeon for New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, and as a pediatric ENT for Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Shinhar has developed a painless tonsillectomy procedure that is revolutionizing the way that surgery is performed.
