America's Only Indoor Ski Resort Opens at American Dream

Big SNOW opened to the public on Sept. 1 with a set of safety precautions to protect you and your family.


Big SNOW—North America's only indoor, real snow, year-round ski and snow resort—opened at American Dream Mall on Sept. 1. The facility is 180,000 total square feet with 150,000 of that being slopes. Visitors of Big SNOW can learn to ski or snow board with private, one-on-one lessons from highly qualified instructors or rent a Sno-Go bike to experience snow from a different perspective. Big SNOW has implemented a variety of safety precautions to ensure your family remains safe and feels comfortable in every activity during your visit.

How Big SNOW Will Keep You Safe

  • Team members will undergo daily health screenings and temperature checks before entering
  • Team members have been trained on Big SNOW's new health and safety measures
  •  Face-to-face interactions will be limited
  • Advance online purchase will be required for all snow park visits
  • The number of guests allowed in the park and shop will be limited
  • Guests must arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before their scheduled arrival
  • Contactless scanning will be instituted for arrival and entry into and out of the snow dome
  • Face coverings will be required for all guests and team members
  • Gloves will be required for all guests entering the snow
  • If you forget your gloves or mask, you can purchase them at Big SNOW
  • Cleaning and sanitization will be increased throughout all touched surfaces, counters, handrails, restrooms, seating areas, and rental equipment
  • Retail associates will utilize UV lighting and steamers to sanitize retail items that have been touched 
  • Social distancing will be adhered to at all time and locker use will be limited at a time
  • The grouping of guests on chair lift will be limited to those who have arrived together

The American Dream, which reopens to the public on Oct. 1, is home to a variety of family friendly attractions, each with their own set of safety precautions to protect you and your family. Nickelodeon Universe,  Out of This World Blacklight Mini Golf, The Rink, Angry Birds Mini Golf, and DreamWorks Water Park, all plan to open Oct. 1. New Jersey SEA LIFE Aquarium aims to reopen Spring of 2021.
