Downtown Dance Factory's new Tribeca studios now offer every style of dance classes for kids and adults, including tap, hip hop, jazz, and Zumba.
 After opening a new four-studio complex in Tribeca, Downtown Dance Factory's program expanded enormously this fall, with added classes for every age and dance style. The new program also offers new classes such as Street Tap -a blend of tap, stomping, and hip-hop for older tappers- on Friday afternoons. Their lyrical program jumped from one weekly class to four, and according to co-founder Melanie Zrihen, their Pre-Teen/Teen Hip Hop class is filling up quicker than ever before.
The boys program has also grown with eleven classes per week dedicated solely to boys ages 3 and up. There's a new line-up of adult classes including Cardio Hip Hop, BodyBlast, Zumba, and Hanne's Jazz Hip Hop Dance Workout, a Downtown Dance Factory favorite. Classes begin daily between 9 and 9:30am, and the line-up throughout the day includes something for all ages and ability levels. Kids classes range from ages 2-14.
