Description: Ring in the Year of the Snake at CMA with a special celebration of Chinese arts and culture. In the 5th annual Lunar New Year Festival, visitors will explore both ancient and modern Chinese art, music, and dance. This festival will feature guest artists, performances, and hands-on workshops.
Venue Description: The Children's Museum of the Arts, founded in 1988, is one of the oldest children's art museums in the world. The museum encourages self-expression and self-esteem in kids through the visual and performing arts and hands-on art programs. Visitors can interact with changing exhibitions of children's art and make their own art, guided by highly skilled professional artists. The museum also offers regular art workshops and hosts children's birthday parties.
The Children's Museum of the Arts is located at 103 Charlton St., near Hudson Square, and is open Monday-Wednesday 12-5pm, Thursday-Friday 12pm-6pm, and Saturday-Sunday 10pm-5pm.
