Description: The king of Christmas tree lightings, the 80th Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting will make 30,000 energy efficient LED lights sparkle on Nov. 28, and will be on view until 11pm on Jan. 7, 2013. The lighting takes place at sundown amid live and taped performances. Performers this year include Trace Adkins, Mariah Carey, Ceelo Green, Victoria Justice, Chris Mann, Rod Stewart, and Il Volo.
