Description: In the traditional Himalayan Buddhist tale, The Four Harmonious Friends, the elephant, the monkey, the rabbit, and the bird, learned that sometimes size doesn't matter. They serve as a symbol of harmony, cooperation, and friendship. Head to the Rubin Museum for a day of animal art, activities, and explorations inspired by the Four Harmonious Friends! Enjoy music and dance performances, family tours, and arts and crafts for kids ages 3—10. Follow in the footprints of the four harmonious friends, hear animal tales, explore the galleries, take part in collaborative sculptures, and craft your own animal hanging to bring home.
