Description: Children's Day originally started at the World Trade Center in 1993. This year there will be a special appearance by Sesame Street's Elmo to celebrate 10 years at the Seaport and 18 years since the very first event.

Musical performances, walk-around characters, hands-on art projects, storytime events and vibrant theater entertain the stroller set. More free family entertainment closes the day with the Target fireworks spectacular and a family-focused concert on the Seaport's Pier 17 stage.
